Our Story

Enchanted Mountain Roller Derby (EMRD) was founded in 2010 by a group of local skaters to provide our community with an environment that enhances personal growth and development through sport.

Our mission is to make a positive difference in our community. We believe in both the value of the individual, and the strength of the team, as a positve force in the world. EMRD is entirely self-supported, drawing from the talents of our members—from skater training and administration to event production, marketing, fundraising, media relations, and every aspect needed for the growth of our league and our sport.

Roller derby has evolved into a true sport with rules and regulations; it involves athleticism and dedication!
